Purchase The Percussionist’s Workbook by Jared Morris and Jed Blodgett. It provides a thorough and systematic series of musical benchmarks to take the young percussionist from the first etude to the college audition. The method includes technical exercises and musical etudes in the three primary areas of concert percussion: keyboard, snare drum, and timpani.
